Resource Types

Resource is in PDF format. To view this you will need Adobe Reader.

Resource is in the form of a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation.

Resource is in the form of an encyclopaedia entry or contains a glossary

Past examination papers for revision

Resource contains sounds/music or has audio files available for streaming/download

Resource contains playable film clips or animation

Resource contains interactive elements such as quizzes or games, or has a multimedia aspect to it.

User Types

The user type tells you to which activity the resource is most suited.

Suitable for Revision.

Suitable for further or independent study by a student.

Suitable for class work or use on the interactive whiteboard.

Useful for teachers.

Learning Styles

Every person has a preferred learning style for taking in and understanding new information. Resources in Amazing® Grades are classified as particularly suitable for one or more of three learning styles.

This resource is well suited to visual learners.

This resource is well suited to auditory learners.

This resource is well suited to Tactile/Kinaesthetic learners.

Learning Level

Foundation level resources provide a good basic understanding of a topic.

Intermediate level resources are more comprehensive and suitable for those who already have some understanding of a topic.

Higher-level resources are suitable for students requiring a more advanced, in-depth discussion of a topic.
