Mathematics grew out of our attempts to quantify many aspects of the world around us. A workable understanding of Number, Space and Data Handling is now essential for a proper appreciation of our highly technological world. In particular, Mathematics impinges on many other subjects including the Sciences, Engineering, Economics and Business.

This area is devoted to the provision of resources for the study of Mathematics up to GCSE level. Although we focus on material directly relevant to examinations, we also provide links to sites of interest more generally - recreational and funmaths.
