Welcome to the Citizenship portal!
Our aim is to provide links to all the most useful websites for citizenship, saving you the time and effort of searching. The portal is split into topical sections to make your research easier, and the sites should provide you with all the details you need for projects and assignments in an easy-to-use format.
There's also information on funding and volunteering in Getting Involved, as well as advice on how to start your own campaigns in Community and Community Projects.
For teachers we have a 'Teacher Resources' section, providing links to charity resources, youth issues and school link websites, amongst others. There are also useful links available within 'real life', and curricular competitions within 'I'm bored now'.
The sites have been chosen for their depth of detail and the quality of their information, but no site can ever be entirely without bias, so take time to work through as many as possible and consider all the issues. We hope you come out of the portal ready to take on the world!
